Literary Magazine

Towodi, Mill Creek's literary magazine is produced by students taking the academic elective class Introduction to Journalism.  Published once a year each spring, the magazine offers a place where students' voices can be heard.  The magazine publishes creative writing of students (poems, short stories, song lyrics, etc.) as well as 2D art and photography, in a print magazine.

Towodi received a First Place ranking from the Georgia Scholastic Press Association for the 2017 edition, Geared In. And a Superior ranking for the 2018 edition, Lit.

Details on submission will be available in late winter.

Towodi is available for sale after April 1 through My Payments Plus.  If you are interested in purchasing previous year editions, please contact Nora Neff at

The Mill Creek Chronicle

The Mill Creek High School Newspaper, The Mill Creek Chronicle, is an online newspaper which is also produced in print twice each semester through an elective class. Instruction includes interviewing, event coverage, and the business and legal aspects of newspaper production. Students also develop their skills as consumers of journalism with regular news viewing, reading, and listening. Students interested in working on the newspaper may submit an application during spring registration.
