TANIA BETHEL is currently the Assistant Principal in charge of Mill Creek High School's 9th grade discipline and the MCHS Science Department. She has been teaching science for 11 years, 8 years in Gwinnett County Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Science Education from the University of Florida and a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Bethel is certified in the fields of Biology (6-12), Physical Science (6-12), and Earth Science (6-12).

WANDA CAIN currently serves as one of our part-time Community School Directors at Mill Creek High School. She brings 40 years of education experience to Mill Creek High School. Ms. Cain has served as Community School Director the entire time Mill Creek High School has been in operation. Under her guidance, Mill Creek's Community School has become one of the premiere community schools in Gwinnett County. Her basic premise is to develop programs to serve as extensions of the day time curriculum and reach out as a basic learning center to meet the various continuing educational needs of the entire community. She also places a focus on partnerships between the school and other community resources.
Ms. Cain has a bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education, a Master's of Education and Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. She is certified in Education Leadership (P-12)

DR. CHESLEY CYPERT serves as the Associate Principal and oversees all areas of instruction, supervises department chairs, and coordinates our Advanced Placement program.
Dr. Cypert brings 15 years of educational experience to our team. She has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management; a Master's of Education in Business Education; an Educational Specialist in Instructional Technology; and a Doctorate of Education in Workforce Education from the University of Georgia. She is certified in the fields of Business Education (6-12), Marketing Education (6-12) and Educational Leadership (P-12)

Dr. Victoria Dodd currently serves as an Assistant Principal in the Curriculum Office. Dr. Dodd is responsible for the master schedule, grade reporting, 8th grade articulation and oversees the instruction of Mill Creek High School's Language Arts department. Prior to arriving at Mill Creek High School in 2014, Dr. Dodd served as a Local School Technology Coordinator at Norcross High School and a Language Arts Teacher at Duluth High School.
Dr. Dodd has a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Georgia; a Master's of English Education from Georgia State University; and a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Mercer University. Dr. Dodd is certified in the field of English Language Arts (6-12) and Gifted Education (P-12).

DR. STEVEN HARDEGREE currently serves as Mill Creek High School's Discipline Coordinator and oversees the discipline for 11th and 12th grade students. He brings over twenty years of educational experience to our team and is a graduate of Shiloh High School. Along with being our Discipline Coordinator, Dr. Hardegree is responsible for Graduation, Honors Night, Parking, and Safety & Security Coordination, and serves as a GCPS Hearing Officer. He also oversees the instruction of Mill Creek High School's Foreign Language department.
Dr. Hardegree has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education, a Master's degree in Teaching Philosophy, a Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Supervision and a Doctioral degree in Instructional Leadership. Dr. Monica Hudson-Cook serves as one of the Discipline Assistant Principals for 10th grade students. She brings 18 years of educational experience to Mill Creek High School. In addition to serving as a Discipline Assistant Principal, Dr. Hudson is responsible for overseeing the instruction of our Social Studies department, the PSAT, Advanced Placement (AP) testing, and will serve as the Locker Coordinator for the 2015-2016 school year.
Dr. Hudson has a Bachelor's of Science in Education with a focus in Health & Physical Education, a Master's of Arts in Instructional Education, a Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision, and a Doctoral degree in Teacher Leadership. She is certified in Health & Physical Education (K-12), Adult Education, Administration & Supervision (p-12), Teacher Leadership, and Teacher Support.

VICKI HUSBY currently serves as one of the Discipline Assistant Principals for 10th grade students. Dr. Husby also oversees the Mill Creek High School Special Education Department, 504 Plans, and Student Support Teams.
Dr. Husby brings 19 years of educational experience to Mill Creek High School. She has served as a middle school teacher, a high school instructional coach, K-12 curriculum coordinator, high school special education coordinator, secondary curriculum director, professional learning director, teacher development consultant, adjunct university professor and professional grant writing trainer.
Dr. Husby has a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education with endorsements in Middle Grades Education and Spanish. She has a Master's degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities. She also has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She is certified in the areas of Early Childhood Education, Middle Grades Education, Gifted Education, Special Education and Educational Leadership.

GARY LONG currently serves as the Athletic Director at Mill Creek High School. Mr. Long brings 3 years of military experience and 33 years of educational experience to our team. Mr. Long is responsible for developing policies and procedures to organize and effectively run Mill Creek High School's interscholastic athletic program and oversees the school clubs. Mr. Long has a Bachelor's degree in History, a Master's in History Education and an Educational Specialist degree in Administration. He is certified in Educational Leadership (P-12).

PATRICIA LOWRIE currently serves as one of our part-time Community School Directors at Mill Creek High School. Mrs Lowrie brings 10 years of business and 36 years of educational experience to the administrative team. Prior to becoming a Community School Director, Mrs. Lowrie served as an Assistant Principal at Mill Creek.
Mrs. Lowrie has a Bachelor degree in Education from the University of Tennessee, a Master's degree in Language Arts from Georgia State and an Educational Specialist degree in Administration from the University of Georgia. She is certified in Education Leadership (P-12).

Mr. May is a Central Gwinnett High School Graduate who brings 20 years of experience to Mill Creek High School. He currently serves as the Mill Creek High School Testing Coordinator and Supervisor of the Health and Physical Education Department. His responsibilities include administering the Georigia High School Graduation Tests, End of Course Tests, Gateway Exam, and Student Perception Surveys. Mr. May has a Degree from Dekalb College, a Bachlors Degree from the University of Georgia in Social Studies Education, and a Master's and Specialist's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia.

BILL NAVAS is currently the Assistant Principal in charge of Mill Creek High School's 9th grade discipline and Gwinnett Student Leadership Team. He also supervises advisement lessons, Talon, and our iLead mentor program. Mr. Navas is a graduate of Bethany College and University of South Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education; a Master's of Elementary Education; and a Specialist in Educational Leadership. He brings 22 years of educational experience including 15 years as a teacher, 5 years as an assistant princial, and 15 years as a head coach.

Ryan Vamplew is currently an Assistant Principal in charge of supporting local school staff development, the academic intervention program and assisting in curriculum. Before coming to Mill Creek High School Ryan was a teacher at The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology and Duluth High School. Ryan has also spent one year as an eClass Instructional Specialist for Gwinnett County Public Schools. He earned his Bachelor of Geography and History in Secondary (6-12) Education from Central Michigan University; a Master’s in Education Leadership from The University of Georgia.
